Foxstone Recruiting is working with an Investment Management firm on a retained search for a Strategic Advisor in Austin, TX. This role partners with high-net-worth families to deliver sophisticated financial and wealth planning strategies that go far beyond investment management.

Strategic Advisors are trusted professionals often attorneys, accountants, or financial planners who help clients navigate complex issues such as tax and estate planning, intergenerational wealth transfer, family business transitions, family office matters, and philanthropy. Working alongside a Private Client Portfolio Manager, the Strategic Advisor leads the development and execution of long-term financial plans in collaboration with clients’ outside advisors.

• Provide comprehensive advice on income, tax, retirement, trust, and estate planning.
• Serve as a primary relationship manager for clients and families.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to deliver holistic strategies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through trusted relationships and referrals.
• Develop and present strategic advisory capabilities to prospective clients.

• JD or CPA required.
• Experience in wealth management, tax, or estate planning (law, accounting, or investment firm).
• Expertise in complex financial and strategic planning for high-net-worth clients.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
• Must be based in or willing to work from Austin, TX
