Job DescriptionAs a Global Mobility Tax Senior Associate, you will be part of a dedicated team of problem solvers, addressing intricate business issues from strategy through execution. Leverage expertise in global mobility tax to deliver outstanding results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Individual tax planning for employee cross‑border movements, including expatriate issues and foreign tax compliance.
- Individual tax compliance, tax planning, and expatriate tax program policies.
- Managing international assignee populations for multinational clients.
- Research business and industry trends to develop points of view for proposals.
- Active participation in client discussions and meetings, communicating firm services.
- Engagement management: preparing concise documents and balancing project economics with unexpected issues.
- Monitor team workloads while meeting client expectations and respecting work‑life quality.
- Provide timely feedback and keep leadership informed of progress and challenges.
- Familiarity with automation and digitization, including working with complex data sets and data visualization tools.
- Innovation through new technologies and experimentation with digitization solutions.
- Use feedback and self‑reflection to enhance personal strengths.
- Delegate tasks effectively, coaching team members.
- Apply critical thinking to unstructured problems.
- Utilize tools and techniques for industry trend insights.
- Review work for quality, accuracy and relevance.
- Effective communication when influencing stakeholders.
- Build relationships by reading situations and adapting behavior.
- Relevant degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 3‑7 years experience in global mobility tax or related fields.
- Preferred certifications: CPA, EA, CGMA, ATA, CPP, GMS.
- Full Time
- Hybrid position – Houston, TX
- Compensation Range: $62,100‑$102,000 (based on education, location, market data)
