Role DescriptionThis is a less than part‑time role based in Austin, TX, for a Managing Partner at Bedrock Capital Management.
The firm is looking for an individual that is based in Austin TX. The Managing Partner will oversee operational and financial strategies, cultivate and maintain key client relationships, and make critical investment decisions that align with the firm’s long‑term goals.
Additional responsibilities include leading new business development initiatives, contributing to market research, managing a portfolio of investments, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while upholding the highest level of trust and fiduciary responsibility.
Compensation Equity OwnershipThe Managing Partner receives equity ownership in Bedrock Capital Management as part of long‑term compensation and value participation.
Investment Sales and Paid‑In Capital CompensationCompensation is earned through Investment Sales activity and contributions of Paid‑In Capital, based on the firm’s established compensation structure for Corporate Development and Fund growth.
Bonus Compensation on Total Paid‑In CapitalThe Managing Partner is eligible for milestone‑based bonuses tied to Total Paid‑In Capital raised by the Bedrock Fund. Bonuses are paid as the Fund achieves capital raise thresholds.
Estimated Annual Compensation (FY2026)$15,000 to $30,000/yr based on firm performance, investor commitments, and milestones achieved.
Estimated Hours and Time CommitmentThe Managing Partner role requires a consistent monthly commitment to ensure proper execution of firm strategy and oversight responsibilities.
Total Estimated Hours Per Week: 10 hrs
Total Estimated Hours Per Month: 40 hrs
Team meetings: 1 to 2 per month
Event participation: As required by capital raise activities, investor engagements, and PR commitments
Experience & Qualifications- Strategic Leadership and Business Development:
Proven ability to develop, execute, and oversee strategic business initiatives and growth strategies, particularly in financial or investment environments. - Investment and Financial Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of multi‑asset investment strategies, financial management, and risk assessment. - Research and Analytical
Skills:
Proficiency in conducting market research, evaluating investment opportunities, and generating actionable business insights. - Leadership and
Collaboration:
Experience in managing teams, fostering a collaborative culture, and delivering results in challenging and high‑stakes environments. - Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred; minimum 3‑5 years of leadership experience in financial services, investment, or related industries.
