Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Loan Processor to join our team. In this role, you’ll support our lending operations by processing loan applications and providing exceptional member service both in person and over the phone.

• Process loan requests by running credit reports and completing applications
• Assign loans to loan officers and assist members with inquiries regarding loan status, payoffs, and account services
• Handle advances on existing lines of credit and VISA cards
• Obtain vehicle values and payoff amounts for refinances
• Prepare title/lien release documentation for management approval
• Provide backup support to the reception area when needed
• Perform general office tasks such as scanning, filing, emailing, and phone support

• High school diploma required
• Minimum 6 months of lending experience (preferably in a bank or credit union)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• General office skills (faxing, scanning, typing, etc.)
• Commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance
