Overview

This role is part of the State and Local Tax (SALT) practice, focusing on property tax for multi-state companies. The firm emphasizes a collaborative culture, access to Ignition Centers, and a range of engagements, formal training, and mentoring.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance
- Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation
- Assist in property tax bill payment and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS)
- Review assessment notices to identify discrepancies
- Minimum three years of recent work experience, including at least two years of experience in personal property tax compliance preparing property tax returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS
- Bachelors degree required. J.D., LL.M. in taxation; masters in taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) preferred
- Experience with various other taxes and their impact on property tax
- Strong knowledge of development, planning, and execution related to property tax
