The Director of Corporate Finance and Development plays a critical role in supporting Overwatch’s executive leadership and enabling the company’s continued domestic and international growth. This role partners closely with the Chief Development Officer (CDO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Vice President of Finance, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), and other members of the executive team to manage corporate finance operations, international expansion initiatives, compliance, and cross‑functional strategic projects.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail‑oriented leader who is comfortable operating across finance, legal, HR, and operational functions in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Key Responsibilities International Operations & EMEA Expansion (Overwatch Holdings International, LLC)- Support the Chief Development Officer with the expansion of Overwatch’s presence across EMEA markets
- Assist with foreign corporate entity formation, registration, and ongoing maintenance
- Coordinate the establishment of international offices, including UK office setup and lease finalization
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, including KYC, GDPR, and related data‑privacy standards
- Support procurement and management of international business insurance policies
- Coordinate HR and payroll activities for international entities in partnership with internal and external providers
- Manage customer onboarding and invoicing for all foreign subsidiary entities
- Oversee vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and bill payment
- Support international banking relationships, including bank account setup and ongoing reconciliations
- Assist with month‑end close activities for all foreign subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate with internal finance leadership and external accounting partners to maintain financial compliance and reporting integrity
- Manage corporate registrations and compliance through CT Corporation across Texas and other operating states
- Support the VP of Finance and CFO with Net Suite consolidations and other finance‑related initiatives, as needed
- Assist the CDO and CHRO with monitoring and compliance related to state payroll tax and withholding requirements
- Provide in‑house legal and compliance support to the CDO, coordinating with external counsel as appropriate
- Provide direct support to the CEO and executive leadership team on special projects, strategic initiatives, and operational priorities
- Serve as a trusted cross‑functional partner to align corporate operations with business growth objectives
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, compliance, and scalability
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in corporate operations, finance operations, international business support, or a similar role
- Working knowledge of international entity setup, compliance, and cross‑border operations
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, month‑end close processes, and financial controls
- Experience working with ERP systems (Net Suite preferred)
- Familiarity with HR, payroll, and tax compliance considerations across multiple jurisdictions
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High level of discretion and professionalism when working with executive leadership and sensitive information.
- Experience supporting EMEA or UK business operations
- Prior exposure to construction, engineering, or mission‑critical infrastructure industries
- Familiarity with KYC, GDPR, and international data‑privacy frameworks
