Pave Bank is the world’s first programmable business bank. Built by the founders behind Monzo and Big Pay, we are redefining global business banking by integrating programmable financial infrastructure with world-class client experiences.
The roleYou will run the day-to-day back office for the investment business: processing client transactions from instruction through to settlement, keeping position and cash records accurate, and producing the reporting our institutional clients rely on. You will work closely with Finance, Compliance and the Bank’s external counter parties, and report to the Head of Asset Management.
What you will doProcess client transactions across their full lifecycle, from instruction and confirmation through to settlement and maturity.
Reconcile positions and cash daily against counter party records, and investigate and clear breaks.
Calculate month-end client yield and fee accruals, and reconcile them to counter party reporting.
Prepare monthly client statements, with a four-eyes check before release.
Support the Bank’s collateral custody service, including asset movements, client instructions and periodic reporting.
Maintain client records and supporting documentation, and respond to client, counter party and audit queries.
Keep operating procedures current, flag operational and regulatory risks early, and help move manual steps into the Bank’s back-office tooling.
What we are looking for
One to four years in an operations, finance, fund administration or client servicing role at a bank, broker, asset manager or fund administrator. Strong candidates from adjacent backgrounds will be considered.
A careful, numerate approach - you notice when a figure does not tie, and you check before you send.
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data files.
Composure under month-end and reporting deadlines, and the judgement to escape early.
Clear written English for correspondence with counter parties and institutional clients.
Discretion in handling confidential client information.
An understanding of securities settlement mechanics, fixed income or repo
Exposure to digital assets or collateral management
Experience with a custodian, prime broker or fund accounting platform
Familiarity with client onboarding or tax documentation
Experience documenting procedures or specifying requirements for operations tooling.
