Processing Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Check Processing Specialist to join our team in Austin. This is a hands‑on, on-site role responsible for receiving, scanning, and securely managing incoming checks while meeting client expectations for accuracy and timeliness.

• Organize and prepare incoming checks for processing
• Scan checks accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain and store checks securely until they are processed
• Securely dispose of checks according to company policy
• Process high volume of checks per day
• Track and report on daily check volumes and processing status
• Flag discrepancies or issues to the Cashiering and Banking team
• Support client satisfaction by meeting processing deadlines

• Prior experience in check processing, cashiering, banking operations, or a similar data-entry role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage a high daily volume in a timely manner
• Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets for volume reporting
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
• Reliable attendance, as the role is on‑site 5 days per week
