* Build positive working relationships with subject matter experts and co-workers to accomplish the department's goals and objectives.

* Analyze legislation and respond to legislative inquiries by deadlines. Conduct research and prepare documents, such as correspondence, reports, and training materials, using appropriate format and grammar.

* Provide guidance to staff in the development and integration of new methods and procedures while supporting the goals of the department.

* Manage T&D's conference participants, prepare conference materials, and perform a supportive role at conferences.

* May supervise others on a project or serve as mentor for other training staff.

* Maintain a keen awareness of how details fit into the big picture in the department's organization and execution of its mission.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

YOU QUALIFY WITH:

* Two years of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.

* Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.

* Six months of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Program Specialist III or Program Supervisor III with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications.

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:

* Experience with successfully managing several projects at once according to timelines.

* Intermediate proficiency with Excel. Experience analyzing and visualizing data to provide insight to leadership.

* Experience working with and supporting managers/supervisors in a professional manner.

* Experience training and mentoring adults in classroom and virtual environments.
