Certified Medical Physicist (M.S. or Ph.D) - S. Austin, TX
Texas Oncology is seeking a full-time Clinical Medical Physicist (M.S. or Ph.D) located at the South Austin, TX clinic at 4101 James Casey St #100 Austin, Texas 78745.
The position will primarily provide medical physics coverage for the South Austin Cancer Center, working with two other onsite physicists, three dosimetrists, seven therapists, and two radiation oncologists.
Responsibilities- All aspects of radiation oncology physics
- Quality assurance
- Clinical duties
- Acceptance testing and commissioning
- MS or PhD in Medical Physics
- Graduation from a CAMPEP accredited residency, and board eligibility by the A
- Temporary (and eventually full) licensure in the state of Texas
