Ara Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a highly motivated Mammography/X-Ray Technologist I to provide diagnostic imaging services in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include performing general diagnostic radiology and mammography imaging procedures, positioning patients, ensuring image quality, and assisting licensed practitioners in interpretation and intervention.

• Perform X-ray and mammography procedures using approved imaging techniques.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the imaging process.
• Assist licensed practitioners in image interpretation and procedural intervention.
• Follow institutional protocols, radiation safety guidelines, and quality assurance procedures.

• Graduate of a recognized program approved by the AMA Council of Education.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certification as a Medical Radiological Technologist (MRT) by the Texas Medical Board.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Mammography certification is preferred.
• Two years of experience in general diagnostic radiology preferred; mammography experience is a plus.
