Sales Executive – Urology – Austin, TX

Join the Myriad Urology team as we lead the way in transforming prostate cancer care through personalized, AI‑driven solutions. Our mission is to empower physicians and patients with insights that guide treatment decisions—because prostate cancer is personal, and treatment should be too! In 2026, we’re advancing this vision with innovations such as the Prolaris Test enhanced by PATHOMIQ AI technology, delivering unprecedented accuracy in predicting disease recurrence and metastasis using digital pathology images.

Responsibilities
  • Support the launch of next‑generation diagnostic solutions, including the AI‑enhanced Prolaris Prostate Cancer Test, designed to improve prognostic accuracy and personalize treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive adoption of innovative technologies, such as digital pathology and AI‑driven analytics, that redefine standards in prostate cancer care.
  • Achieve sales targets by driving growth for Prolaris, MyRisk, and Precise—meeting or exceeding sales objectives and developing action plans to increase test orders and expand market share.
  • Strategic customer engagement: focus efforts on urologists, urologic oncologists, pathologists, and radiation oncologists across community practices, large groups, and academic settings.
  • Increase access and adoption: utilize an insightful selling model to educate providers, improve patient access to testing, and grow weekly order volumes.
  • Promote precision oncology: serve as a trusted advisor and influence physicians to adopt advanced risk assessment and treatment approaches aligned with the continuum of cancer care.
  • Build strong relationships: foster two‑way communication with targeted physicians, understand practice economics and value drivers, and position testing as a standard of care.
  • Ensure optimal patient outcomes: advocate for treatment decisions that balance efficacy and quality of life, helping prevent over‑ or under‑treatment.
Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree preferred and a minimum of 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in medical device, pharmaceuticals, or related healthcare services.
  • Experience in the urology and/or urologic oncology therapeutic area is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, self‑motivation, curiosity, and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrates values and ethics that support Myriad’s mission, goals, and professional code of conduct.
  • Professional discretion and ethics related to handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets Myriad’s motor vehicle driving record policy.
  • Availability for overnight travel as needed/required.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Estimated on‑target earnings range: $182,000 – $207,000 annually (base salary + variable incentive compensation; uncapped bonus available).
  • Employer‑paid health and wellness support, including multiple medical plan options with preventive care covered at 100%, HSA and FSA accounts with annual contributions up to $1,000.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary to light work, exerting 10–20 pounds of force frequently. Includes stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. OSHA category III—normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissue and will not require emergency care or first aid assistance.
