Radiology Technologist – Austin Regional Clinic (ARC)

A radiologic technologist performs diagnostic imaging to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries. The role requires effective patient interaction and collaboration with interdepartmental staff while maintaining compliance and confidentiality.

• Perform diagnostic X‑ray procedures, including patient positioning and equipment setting adjustments to achieve optimal image density, detail, and contrast.
• Conduct image quality checks and apply QC procedures.
• Provide appropriate patient protection following safety standards.
• Notify supervisor of equipment repair needs.
• Maintain compliance with Texas Medical Board and ARRT educational requirements.
• Follow company policies including OSHA, HIPAA, and Code of Conduct.
• Maintain regular and dependable attendance.
• Adhere to core competencies set by the Company.
• Work holiday shifts as required by company policy.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stock room supplies.
• Attend required meetings and in‑services.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA‑approved program.
• Experience working with patients of all age groups.
• Familiarity with PACS image retrieval and storage.
• Experience in digital radiography.
• Preferred:
  One year or more of related work experience.

• Ability to perform all diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Customer‑oriented, providing outstanding service to patients, physicians, and coworkers.
• Maintain awareness of patient privacy, confidentiality, and dignity.
• Work effectively in a team and independently.
• Engage others, listen, and adapt responses to meet their needs.
• Align actions with team goals.
• Excellent computer and keyboarding skills, including familiarity with Windows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Manage competing priorities and perform job duties professionally.
• Understand, recall, and communicate factual information and apply instructions.
• Apply common sense in performing job duties.

• Current licensure as a Registered Technologist through the Texas Medical Board.
• Radiological Technologist in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current AHA‑approved Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification or completion within 60 days of hire.

Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
