Job Summary and QualificationsJob Summary
As a Radiology Technologist Lead, you will operate standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. You will participate in providing patient specific care standards as directed and follows service excellence standards to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
You will lead and oversees the Radiology Department to ensure the quality of work
Youcoordinate and prioritize the department workflow to ensure completion of work assignmentswill develop and process films andtransmitto a Radiologist for interpretation
You willbe accountable for Imaging Department functions and responsibilities
You will contribute to the effective management of the Radiology Department
You will perform all diagnostic radiographic procedures including ER, surgical,fluoroscopicand portable radiographs
You will interpret and implement referringphysiciansorders
You will practice safe radiation protection following hospital guidelines
You willassistsphysicians and radiologists in procedures requiring sterile technique
You will prepare patients for procedures using sterile technique
You will prepare and administer radiopaque contrast media needed for radiologic exams
You will select contrast media according to radiologist preference
