Role Overview

Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) responsible for providing recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective. Operates in a dynamic environment performing case management, assessment, and service coordination based on program guidelines. Duties include continuity of care services, linking consumers and families to resources, and monitoring service utilization. Provides necessary skills training, crisis prevention, community outreach, and coordinates clinical and substance use treatment tools.

Responsibilities
  • Case management and assessment for clients with substance use disorders.
  • Service coordination, linking clients to resources, and monitoring service utilization.
  • Provide necessary skills training and crisis prevention.
  • Coordinate clinical and substance use treatment tools, including assessment and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Utilize efficient, clinically appropriate utilization of agency resources.
  • Handle bilingual communication services if required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required;
    Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
  • Current and valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
  • LCDC or LCDC-CI licensure required; maintain licensure throughout employment.
  • 1-2 years direct care experience in mental health/SUD services preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Knowledge of infection diseases such as Hepatitis, HIV, STD required.
  • Knowledge of methadone/buprenorphine treatment required.
Hours

Full-Time. Monday - Friday. 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Salary

$23.03 - $35.68 an hour depending on years of licensure.
