We are looking for kind, reliable Care Givers to join us as the most trusted and respected provider of comprehensive home care services & support for individuals who choose to remain independent in their home.

Home Helpers has been in business for nearly 30 years, is expanding throughout Austin and is looking for dedicated, caring team members to join our best-in-class care team.

The ideal candidate for this role is located in north central Austin and can be flexible with hours that build with time and client relationships to 30-40 per week as we grow. Base pay is $16-$20/ hour based on experience with opportunity for more for special shifts (e.g. nights, weekends, holidays, and OT).

Job Details:

• Position: Caregiver (CG)
• Location: Austin (North Central), TX
  • (Commuting distance to Cedar Valley, Southpark Meadows, Westlake, and Domain areas.)
• Client: TBD.
• Pay Rate: $16-$20 an hour based on experience
• Starting:
  Now
• Responsibilities:
  • Assist with all transfers, and assist with some bathing/dressing
  • Laundry, change sheets
  • Engage the client with lively conversation,
  • Accompany client with errands and appointments
  • Can work independently on light house keeping projects
  • Cook/prep meals
• Schedule:
  • Up to 5 days a week:
    Monday - Friday
  • Shift: Will vary

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Possesses a passion to help others.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current insurance.
• No criminal history/ able to pass background check.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

• 3 years professional work experience.
• 1 year CG or similar experience.
• Post H.S. education (e.g. associate or bachelor's degree)
