Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Clinical Biostatistician, you will support the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute in the conduction and analysis of studies. You will handle the creation, maintenance, updating, and documentation of databases, and provide guidance for database structures and ad hoc query designs.

  • You will provide strategic, statistical, and scientific advice on clinical trial planning

  • You will create and maintain clinical databases in Microsoft Access

  • You will submit regulatory documents and create statistical documents

  • You will provide statistical contributions to regulatory submissions and interactions

  • You will perform statistical analyses, generate reports, and create statistical text for clinical study reports, clinical publications, and other communications

What qualifications you will need
  • 1-5 years of experience in analysis, supervision of data management, and study design for biomedical applications

  • 5 years of experience with Master’s Degree, or 2 years of experience with PhD, in data managing and manipulation using statistical computing

  • SAS or SPSS experience – preferred

  • 1 year of clinical trial experience

  • 1 year of experience using all Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Access

  • Master’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics
