Relief Caseworker Assistant

Job Summary

This Caseworker Assistant position is located at 4019 Manchaca Road within the Alameda House program. The primary purpose of the position is to supervise residents in order to maintain appropriate structure and safety while providing rehabilitative client care work. The role involves monitoring clients, enforcing facility rules, managing client behaviors, de‑escalating clients, intervening in crises, and engaging clients in social and developmental activities.

Work is performed under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

• Supervise residents to maintain structure and safety.

• Monitor clients, enforce rules, manage behaviors.

• De‑escalate clients, intervene in crises.

• Engage clients in social and developmental activities.

• Maintain regular, predictable attendance.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Current and valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Experience in care of clients and residential environment (preferred).

• Flexible work schedule required.

$21.66 an hour, plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
