JOB SUMMARY
The Valet Attendant at Lone Star Court Hotel will be present at the hotel entrance. The attendants will be responsible for greeting and escorting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles, and managing payment for services. The Valet Attendant will exhibit the values and core service standards instituted at Lone Star Court.
DUTIES- Be aware of events and meetings on property
- Review arrivals and any parking needs
- Review resumes for any parking or shuttle needs
- Greet guests at their vehicle as they pull up to the front drive
- Direct guests to appropriate venues and meeting spaces
- Accurately fill out valet parking ticket
- Keep valet parked keys organized
- Maintain cleanliness in the front drive and parking lot areas
- Ensure all valet parked cars are logged into valet log
- Lock all keys in the front desk key cabinet at the end of each shift
- Reconcile billing at the start of each day
- Assist with any deliveries (in house and external) as needed
- Provide friendly service, utilizing the Valencia Hotel Group Core Standards with every guest interaction
- Practice all safety standards and guidelines set forth by Lone Star Court
- Attend department and hotel meetings as scheduled
- Familiarize and practice Lone Star Court Values and Virtues
- Keep valet stand and supplies clean and organized
- Have a workable knowledge of amenities in the area and how to get there
- Obey all traffic laws and treat hotel and customer property with caution
- Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by management
- Provide a Valid Driver License.
- Have maintained a clean driving record
- Follow all Hotel guidelines and safety protocols in regards of driving within hotel premise.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Will use devices to communicate with guests and employees (such as Oobeo and Alice)
- Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
- Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
- Report any unsafe conditions immediately
- Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor
Standing/Walking/Running:
Constantly. Standing post on front drive. Running to retrieve vehicles

- Mainly Outdoors. Will be exposed to elements of heat, cold, precipitation
