Job Summary
The Elite Job is currently hiring a Hotel Front Desk Executive for a prestigious client in the hospitality industry. This is a shift-based role (24x7 rotational) requiring candidates who are enthusiastic, guest-oriented, and capable of handling diverse front desk operations. As the first point of contact for hotel guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service, managing check-ins and check-outs, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a seamless guest experience at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival and departure
- Manage the check-in and check-out process, including room assignments and payment handling
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide accurate information regarding hotel services, local attractions, and directions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest requests
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a calm, solution-oriented manner
- Maintain accurate guest records, issue room keys, and manage reservations via hotel software
- Manage phone lines, respond to emails, and route calls appropriately
- Perform end-of-shift reporting and balance cash drawers or billing accounts
- Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service at all times
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in front desk or property management software (e.g., Opera, IDS, Cloudbeds, etc.)
- Strong customer service mindset and pleasant demeanor
- Good multitasking and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hotel front desk or reception operations
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service roles is highly preferred
- Freshers with relevant education and excellent communication skills may also apply
- This is a rotational shift-based position (Morning, Evening, Night)
- 8-hour shifts including weekends and public holidays
- 6 days working with 1 weekly off (rotational)
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and front desk processes
- Understanding of hospitality etiquette and guest service standards
- Ability to resolve conflicts or guest issues with diplomacy and efficiency
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to adapt to varying guest profiles and multicultural environments
