Part-Time Bartender | Colton House Hotel

Create connections. Craft cocktails. You will prepare and serve inspired drinks while delivering distinctive experiences for guests. Your role is to impress guests with your beverage expertise in an unmatched, well‑maintained environment.

• Open, set up, clean, stock, and maintain Simona’s, the Parlor, Patio & Lawn, and the Pool Area.
• Serve and recommend beverages, manage the bar, and upsell special items.
• Provide exceptional service from guest arrival to departure during daily operations and on‑site events.
• Check identification and ensure legal age for all alcohol sales.
• Handle cash, debit, credit card, and charge‑to‑room transactions accurately.
• Support event catering, including setup, service, and cleanup.
• Maintain bar stock, update ambience, and keep guest areas tidy.
• Adhere to food safety, health, and safety regulations.
• Communicate guest feedback and collaborate with the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of one year related education or experience preferred.
• Proficient with a computerized POS system.
• Current Texas Food Handler’s License and State TABC certification required.
• Ability to create and serve a wide variety of cocktails and espresso drinks.
• Knowledge of liquor laws, bar equipment operation, and cash handling.
• Excellent guest‑service awareness and hospitality experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Hourly Pay Range: $13 to $15 DOE.
• Tip/Tip Pooling Eligible.
