Key Responsibilities- Nighttime Welcome Wagon:
Greet guests with warmth and efficiency during the overnight shift (11 PM – 7 AM). Handle check-ins, reservations, and those quirky late-night questions like a pro. - Master of Midnight Math:
Own the Night Audit! Balance the books, finalize transactions, and make sure every number is in its perfect place. Detail lovers, this is your time to shine. - Guardian of the Glow-Up:
Keep the property safe and sound with regular security walks. You’re the calm, watchful presence that helps guests sleep easy. - The Nightly Newsroom:
Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report to give management the inside scoop on what went down while the world was sleeping. - Teamwork After Twilight:
Work hand-in-hand with other departments to keep operations smooth and service top-notch—even in the wee hours. - Tech-Savvy Problem Solver:
If you’re fluent in Windows, spreadsheets, and word docs—and you’ve got a knack for solving problems solo—you’ll fit right in.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
- 1 year in a hotel or related field. Supervisory experience is a plus.

Hampton Inn & Suites Austin-Downtown/Convention Center is a comfortable and convenient hotel in downtown Austin. Our 16-story hotel is one block from the Austin Convention Center, and walking distance to the Sixth Street entertainment district. Whether visitors are traveling to Austin for business, to attend a convention, or for one of our annual live music festivals, they will enjoy a boutique-style hotel minutes from Austin attractions.
Guests can tend to some work or unwind after a day of sightseeing in a room with free WiFi, a large work desk with an ergonomic desk chair, and a convenient lap desk. We offer suites for more space if guests are traveling with family or a group.
