Duration: 4‑Month Contract | Potential to Convert to Full-Time | $50 - $55/hr.

Open Teams is seeking a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team of industry‑leading recruiting professionals. This role will serve as a 4‑month contract covering a team member’s maternity leave, with strong potential for a full‑time hire based on performance and organizational needs.

What We're Looking For- 5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience — both agency and in‑house preferred.
- 3+ years recruiting for technical roles (ideally within the open‑source software or engineering ecosystem).
- Proven ability to partner directly with C‑level leadership as a strategic advisor.
- Strong record of success in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments; calm under pressure and results‑oriented.
- A player‑coach mindset - collaborative, supportive, and eager to help others succeed.
- Highly organized, detail‑driven, and able to manage multiple priorities with ease.
- Skilled in sourcing and building pipelines through creative, multi‑channel outreach strategies.
- Own and manage senior‑level technical and leadership requisitions, driving full‑cycle recruiting from intake to offer.
- Partner with company leadership to strategically expand the senior and leadership talent base.
- Build and strengthen Open Teams’ employer brand within the open‑source community; nurture relationships with key contributors and partners.
- Collaborate closely with the recruiting team to share best practices, mentor junior recruiters, and ensure an engaging, high‑performing culture.
- Support hiring manager enablement through interview training and process improvements focused on quality and efficiency.
- Create and analyze recruiting metrics and reports to identify opportunities for process improvements and scalability.
- Collaborate on talent development programs to identify and grow high‑potential candidates internally.

1. Preliminary Interview — 30 minutes You’ll meet with our recruiter for an introductory conversation about your background, career goals, and what you’re looking for in your next role. We’ll also share more about the opportunity and answer any initial questions. The goal is to build a high‑level understanding of your experience, interests, and alignment with Open Teams.
2. Video Interview with Technical Recruiter — 45 minutes Next, you’ll meet with our current Technical Recruiter for a deeper discussion about your experience. This conversation will include a mix of behavioral, situational, and skill‑based questions related to the role. This step helps us assess your recruiting approach, technical fluency, and working style.
