Job Summary:
As an IT Recruiter, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. You’ll work closely with account managers and clients to understand technical requirements and deliver exceptional talent. The ideal candidate will bring prior agency experience and a solid understanding of the fast-paced, client-focused recruiting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a wide range of IT roles (developers, engineers, analysts, project managers, etc.)
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, Linked In, referrals, and networking events
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to understand client requirements and hiring timelines
- Manage candidate communications, schedule interviews, and coordinate feedback
- Negotiate compensation packages and close candidates effectively
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and competitive intelligence
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in IT recruiting (agency experience strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to source passive candidates using Linked In and other tools
- Familiarity with technical terminology and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ATS platforms (Ceipal or other similar systems)
- Only candidates local to Austin, TX will be considered. This position is hybrid, with expectations to be able to commute in to our physical address at times.
