This position supports Cap Metro’s overarching hiring goals by assisting with sourcing, scheduling, candidate communication, and basic screening. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of talent acquisition.  Qualifications WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.  Related experience may substitute for educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.  One (1) year of experience working with high-volume external recruitment and internal mobility programs, with a proven track record in full-cycle talent acquisition and a dedicated focus on employees and administering or supporting candidate sourcing or the onboarding of new employees preferred

Experience with online application tracking systems and hands-on experience with sourcing techniques preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products with basic ability to work in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint in a Windows environment.  Customer service mindset to positively present Cap Metro and open roles to potential candidates  Adaptability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced changing work environment while prioritizing multiple functions and managing time efficiently.  Work ethic, resourcefulness, and a healthy level of engagement in work responsibilities.  

Knowledge and understanding of employee recruiting and related state and federal regulations.  Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and to maintain confidentiality.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.  Excellent oral and written communications skills.  Ability to work under direct guidance with potential to function independently with minimal supervision over time.  WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS  Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions.

This position works with multiple project timelines and is responsible for managing employees performing work of a complex nature.  Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently throughout an eight-hour period, reach vertically for overhead use as well as horizontally. Must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment.  Incumbent must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs.,

perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day, and function in an environment with constant interruptions.
