Overview

Light Edge is seeking a skilled Service Now Developer to join our team and help us enhance and customize our Service Now platform. As a Service Now Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing custom solutions within the Service Now ecosystem to meet the needs of our organization. Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize Service Now applications, workflows, and modules based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Implement Service Now best practices and standards to ensure optimal system performance and reliability, including keeping the system upgraded as new versions are released.
  • Configure and enhance Service Now functionalities including Customer Service Management, Order Management, ITSM Management, Employee Center, and Strategic Portfolio Management.
  • Integrate Service Now with third-party applications, systems, and tools using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods.
  • Develop and maintain Service Now documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Service Now applications, workflows, and integrations.
  • Stay updated with the latest Service Now releases, features, and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
Education and Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Service Now Developer.
  • Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Proficiency in Service Now Scripting (JavaScript, Glide Record), UI Policies, Business Rules, Scripted Endpoints, Client Scripts.
  • Familiarity with Service Now Modules: ITSM, ITOM, CSM, SPM, Telco Order Management, CMDB, and Discovery
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience in Service Now integration using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and other integration methods.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Service Now certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) will be an advantage.
  • ITIL experience preferred.
  • Experience with AiOps, Agent Assist, and Predictive Intelligence preferred.
