Cloud Infrastructure Engineer_only W2

Overview

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (W2, local to Austin, TX).

• Knowledge and experience in solutioning, configuring, integrating and securing cloud networking and cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Serverless) in Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience and understanding of cloud computing Dev Ops principles Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Experience with containerization, deploying and configuring microservices.
• Kubernetes architecture deployment, scaling, and maintenance.
• Proficient automation using a mix of scripting languages (Bash, Korn, Power Shell, Cloud CLI, Kubernetes Helm) and third-party tools.
• Experience with declarative and imperative languages (YAML, JSON, Ruby, HCL, etc.) and tools for infrastructure-as-code (Ansible, Docker, Terraform, etc.).
• Experience with cloud and performance monitoring, auditing, logging, and operations tools (e.g., Sysdig Secure, Dynatrace, AWS Cloud Watch, GCP Cloud Operations, Azure Monitor, OCI Monitoring).
• Experience with cloud recovery strategies for storage replication and automated recovery plans to protect data for cloud disaster recovery.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with cloud database services (Rational/No
  
  SQL and SQL/Oracle), data lakes, and cloud ETL/ELT best practices for structured and unstructured data.
• Understanding of cloud services such as Azure Data Factory, OCI Data Integrator, Google Data Fusion, AWS Kinesis, Data Sync, Data Copy.
• Experience with best practices for optimizing IT cloud infrastructure, tracing, troubleshooting, and aligning with standards, policy, and IT information security controls.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• One or more cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, Google, Oracle) or equivalent work experience.

• Experience in solutioning, configuring, integrating and securing cloud networking and cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Serverless).
