Head of Network Security

Senior IT Recruiter at PRI Technology is seeking a Head of Network Security to lead the strategy and design for network security infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of security and compliance. This leadership role will lead a team of 10-12 and requires deep expertise in Zero Trust frameworks.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive network security strategy with a focus on Zero Trust principles.
• Lead and mentor a team of network security professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align network security initiatives with business objectives.
• Design and implement Zero Trust Network Security frameworks, including network segmentation, identity and access management and continuous monitoring.
• Evaluate and select security technologies and solutions that support Zero Trust principles.
• Ensure the integration of Zero Trust security measures across all network layers and endpoints.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security appliances.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and standards.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing Zero Trust network security frameworks using Palo Alto Networks and/or Zscaler technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, protocols, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust network principles and their application in a corporate environment using Palo Alto Networks and/or Zscaler technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
