Technical Lead - Cloud Services; Azure

Position: Technical Lead - Cloud Services (Azure)
Sysco LABS technology is present in the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network, the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer and much more. , you will oversee the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, develop cloud solutions, and ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our cloud-based systems.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Azure architecture and a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies. You will participate in architecture reviews of Azure environments, bring engineering best practices, lead changes, and inspire teams toward delivery excellence ponsibilities:

Collaborating with stakeholders and application teams to understand business requirements, translating them into cloud architecture designs, and providing operational support to application teams

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of Azure infrastructure, services, and offerings, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Director A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field;
An MSc or relevant postgraduate qualifications will be an additional advantage
10+ years of industry experience and 7+ years of working experience with Azure cloud platform

Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Professional, with a strong focus on designing and implementing Azure-based solutions Knowledge of cloud security controls including conditional access policies, tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, federated authentication vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
