AWS Sr. Software Developer – Remote role based in the US.

• Morning meetings with the internal team and clients
• Requirements analysis and design conversations when a new project starts
• Working on Jira issues with your team — building systems, creating Cloud Formation/Serverless templates to deploy resources, etc.
• Learning best practices used in the Node.js, JavaScript/Type Script, and Python communities
• Working with your mentor/team lead to further knowledge of AWS services, tools, or new languages to address project needs
• Be ready to learn quickly!

• Advanced knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
• 5+ years of development experience, with 3+ years focused on Node.js/Type Script working with AWS services
• Advanced understanding of how the web works
• Functional understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum
• Ability to accept constructive feedback
• Desire to provide assistance to other team members
• Seek to understand before prescribing a solution
• Love for technology and the latest development best practices, especially the latest AWS services
• Willingness to stand up for convictions while committing to the team’s decision

$120,000 - $140,000 per year
