We’re seeking an experienced Senior Proposal Manager to support our global Proposal Management team. This role is for a seasoned professional who will partner with our Go To Market teams in support of SailPoint’s growth objectives. This person will bring a depth of enterprise RFx management, combining hands-on expertise with the ability to mentor others and improve how SailPoint approaches large, complex opportunities.

You’ll partner closely with Sales, Security, Legal, and Solution Engineering leaders to ensure every submission reflects SailPoint’s strengths, compliance standards, and competitive advantage. You’ll also help evolve our processes, tools, and content governance to meet the growing demands of our global business.
** Responsibilities*
* • Lead and oversee complex, high-visibility RFx responses across global regions (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, DDQs).
• Serve as a key advisor to go-to-market teams on proposal qualification, strategy, and pursuit decisions.
• Facilitate kickoffs and executive reviews to align stakeholders and position SailPoint effectively.
• Drive collaboration among cross-functional teams to deliver complete and compliant submissions.
• Review and refine proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and persuasive storytelling.
• Contribute to RFP automation, AI integration, and content governance initiatives.
• Track proposal performance metrics and share insights to shape future strategy.
** Skills and Qualifications*
* • Established track record of enterprise RFx management within a SaaS or cybersecurity environment.
• Proven leadership in managing complex, multi-stakeholder proposal efforts.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to translate technical content into clear, business-focused messaging.
• Experience improving proposal processes, content systems, or cross-functional workflows.
• Proficiency with RFP management tools such as Loopio, Arphie, or RFPIO, and strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Confluence, Asana, or SharePoint.
• Comfortable influencing at multiple levels of the organization, including executives.
• Knowledge of Shipley methodology or government contracting practices is a plus.
• Understanding of identity security or related SaaS technology preferred.
** Path to Success:
** Within the first 4 months, you will:
• Learn about the Identity Security & Identity Management space
• Become familiar with SailPoint processes for proposal management
• Learn the difference in requirements and responses between the regions and able to support globally.
• Begin to share your knowledge among the team and support as needed.

Within 6 months to a year, you will:
• Proactively network and build your internal brand
• Articulate the value of SailPoint as a strategic sale
• Provide strategic advice to go-to-market teams on best practices for proposal techniques
• Modify or create processes to improve SailPoint’s proposal management approach Experience
• 8+ years of progressive RFx or proposal management, ideally in enterprise technology or cybersecurity.
• Preferred, not required:
Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
