• Design and build services that scale for millions of users and systems.
• Drive new innovation in the Amazon/AWS ecosystem and "Think Big!"
• Continuously learn different technologies and architectures to ensure we have the correct solutions:
  Java, Python, Big Data, Microservices, etc.
• Solve complex problems with elegant solutions by working across teams and organizations in Amazon.
• Own your solutions and the entire life‑cycle, from the roadmap to the architecture to implementation and continuous iterative development.
• Participate in a day‑in‑the‑life of the AVM team: collaborate with compliance and application security teams to identify and work through potentially impactful issues.
• Define and maintain highly scalable solutions built on AWS Services to improve visibility and tracking of security exposures worldwide.

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ year of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ year of Object‑Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
