As an email developer, you will play an integral role by contributing and executing on our marketing and business partners’ vision. You’ll ensure the best quality for our consumers, collaborate on the strategic vision and path for digital marketing to support the overall business, and develop a best‑in‑class customer experience.

• Execute email campaigns with serious customer segmentation, testing protocols, and technical execution.
• Apply best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility.
• Set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns with dynamic content, troubleshooting HTML, CSS, and other performance issues.
• Perform coding database tasks as required.
• Modernize and evolve how we design, build, and deploy email.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of deliverables.
• Proactively improve processes and work methods for greater efficiency.
• Collaborate with colleagues in different business groups to resolve issues and develop technical solutions.
• Enjoy sharing knowledge and growing the skills of fellow team members.
• Analyze complex business and systems requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex system issues in layperson terminology.
• Work confidently with business partners, sometimes the most senior of the seniors.
• Be eager to learn from coworkers, marketing partners, C2 departments, tech platforms, and award books.
• Approach each project with a positive "we-can-make-this-great" frame of mind.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years proficient email development work experience (skill over tenure).
• Master of all aspects of email marketing and systems‑template configuration and management, dynamic content, and queries for data extensions.
• Boss‑level skills in Salesforce design and development and a deep understanding of Salesforce platform features.
• Know Salesforce Marketing Cloud and all its channel (email, social, SMS) applications like the back of your hand. Familiarity with SFDC to SFMC Cloud connectors, and campaign tools (e.g., Content Builder, Interaction Studio, Campaign Studio). Smart enough to implement Einstein.
• Experience with email systems beyond Salesforce.
• Experience with JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, and integration with external systems (API).
• Working knowledge of AMPscript, jQuery, and Next.js is a huge plus.
• Prior experience in the financial industry or an ad agency would be a plus.
