Job Description
Join Visa as an Associate Experience Designer. Visa is a world leader in payments technology, facilitating transactions across more than 200 countries. This role supports Visa’s growing digital product line.
Responsibilities- Advocate for our users.
- Design usable, accessible and engaging digital experiences.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional product and business teams to build on vision and ensure alignment.
- Capture requirements, design flows, wireframes, prototypes and fully fleshed out designs.
- Document designs and consult with engineers to ensure they are built and function as intended.
- Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor’s Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience.
- Clearly articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
- Independent judgment with minimal direction.
- Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for improved user experiences.
- Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Self‑starter with energy and enthusiasm.
- Experience in design consultancies, digital product teams, or established startups.
Portfolio
Required:

- 4 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years with an Advanced Degree.
- 4 years working as a product or digital designer in an in‑house, agency, or cross‑functional team.
- Strong fluency in Figma, Fig Jam, and Adobe products.
- Experience designing high‑fidelity mockups, wireframes, and rapid prototyping.
- Knowledgeable in human‑centered design thinking, UX/UI principles, service design, and user research.
- Strong understanding of accessibility principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Authorization:
Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
Work Hours:
Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: 5–10% of the time.

The position will be performed in an office setting, requiring sitting and standing at a desk and using standard office equipment.

The estimated salary range for this position is $88,000.00 to $ per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors. This position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
