Job Title: Dev Ops Engineer 3

Location: Austin, TX 78751 (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Contract Duration: 7 Months (with possible extension 1 – 2 years)

Interview Format: In-person and Microsoft Teams

Position will be 2 days remote with 3 days (Mon & Wed) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).

Please do ++not++ submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must ++already++ reside in Texas.

Client is seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer 3 to design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, enabling scalable, secure, and automated application delivery. The candidate will work closely with IT developers to streamline integration, deployment, and operational processes in a modern cloud environment.

Works with IT developers to facilitate better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes. Dev Ops aims at coupling a tighter alignment between IT operations and businesses.

Skilled Dev Ops Engineer to design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, enabling scalable, secure, and automated application delivery. This role will focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines, automation, and operational excellence for modern cloud environments.

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to optimize workflows and enforce best practices.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve system scalability.

• Minimum 8 years experienced in AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC).
• Minimum 8 years proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, AWS Code Pipeline).
• Minimum 8 years expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation).
• Minimum 8 years hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Minimum 8 years knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Watch, Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Minimum 8 years familiarity with Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and version control (Git).
• Preferred 8 years knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Preferred 8 years familiarity with performance tuning and high‑availability strategies.
• Preferred 8 years experience with serverless architectures and event‑driven workflows.
