Remote/Onsite Requirements: 2 days remote with 3 days (Mon & Wed) onsite. Candidates must be local to the Austin area (within a 50‑mile radius) and already reside in Texas.
Description of Services: Works with IT developers to facilitate better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes. Dev Ops aims at coupling a tighter alignment between IT operations and businesses. Skilled Dev Ops Engineer to design and implement cloud‑native solutions on AWS, enabling scalable, secure, and automated application delivery. This role will focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines, automation, and operational excellence for modern cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud‑native architectures leveraging AWS services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to optimize workflows and enforce best practices.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve system scalability.
- 8 years required experience.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, AWS Code Pipeline).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation).
- Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Watch, Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Familiarity with Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and version control (Git).
- Preferred:
Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). - Preferred:
Familiarity with performance tuning and high‑availability strategies. - Preferred:
Experience with serverless architectures and event‑driven workflows.
