Dev Ops Engineer (AWS)
Location:
Austin, TX

In-person / MS Teams Experience Level
- 8 years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in coordinating development, operations, and testing teams
- Experience automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes
- Ability to align IT operations closely with business objectives
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS
- Enable scalable, secure, and automated application delivery
- Build robust CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Drive operational excellence in modern cloud environments
- Design and implement cloud-native architectures using AWS services
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS Cloud Formation
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to optimize workflows
- Enforce Dev Ops best practices and standards
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve scalability
- Support system performance, availability, and resiliency
Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of strong experience with AWS services, including:
- EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and VPC
- 8 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as:
- Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, AWS Code Pipeline
- 8 years of expertise in Infrastructure as Code using:
- Terraform and/or AWS Cloud Formation
- 8 years of hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration:
- Docker and Kubernetes
- 8 years of experience with monitoring and logging tools:
- Cloud Watch, Prometheus, ELK stack
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Experience using version control systems such as Git
- Experience with observability and visualization tools:
- Prometheus, Grafana
- Knowledge of performance tuning and high-availability architectures
- Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
