About the Role
GTS Technology is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support the organization’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of network systems that support mission‑critical business functions. This role will collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams to optimize performance, security, and scalability across multiple network environments.

• Design, configure, and support LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers to maintain secure, optimized traffic flow.
• Support network segmentation, VLAN configuration, and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Manage and maintain network monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve performance issues.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to implement network security best practices and compliance standards.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and change management activities.
• Provide after‑hours and on‑call support for critical network incidents as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, administration, or support.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching protocols.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco technologies (CCNA or higher certification preferred).
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Solar Winds, Nagios, or PRTG.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid network environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
