Role Overview
We are seeking a Policy Specialist Lead to join our team in Austin, TX. This role will support policy development, analysis, and implementation in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. The Policy Specialist Lead will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and best practices in technology, Trust & Safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Research, analyze, and draft policy documents, guidance, and recommendations to support organizational decision-making.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory, legal, and industry developments relevant to technology, compliance, and Trust & Safety.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (legal, operations, product, engineering, and Trust & Safety) to evaluate and implement policy updates.
- Review, interpret, and refine policies to ensure clarity, consistency, and operational alignment.
- Support issue resolution and policy-related escalations by providing subject matter expertise.
- Contribute to risk assessments, compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement of policy frameworks.
- Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- 2+ years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust & Safety, or technology environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex policy issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to draft and refine policy documents.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Experience working in a technology company or fast-paced global environment.
- Familiarity with content moderation, Trust & Safety, or regulatory compliance.
