Position OverviewAirsys is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the commercial growth of Liquid Rack
, Airsys’ new Server‑Level Liquid Cooling Unit (SLCU). This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing strategic opportunities with Server OEMs, system integrators, and targeted end customers
, particularly within retrofit data center environments
. This is a highly strategic, relationship‑driven role designed for someone with established industry credibility and deep connections in the immersion cooling ecosystem. The BDM will help position Airsys alongside leading liquid cooling technology providers while shaping go‑to‑market strategy and long‑term partnerships.
- Drive adoption of server‑level liquid cooling technologies across the U.S. market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within retrofit data centers
, brownfield deployments, and high‑density compute environments. - Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for server‑level liquid cooling solutions in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Server OEMs
, system integrators, and platform partners. - Engage directly with OEM technical, product, and strategy teams to align Airsys’ cooling solutions with next‑generation server architectures.
- Support OEM qualification efforts, joint solution development, and co‑marketing initiatives where applicable.
- Leverage existing relationships with targeted customers and industry influencers to create early‑stage opportunities.
- Educate customers on server‑level liquid cooling, use cases, and ROI—especially in retrofit scenarios.
- Support pilot programs, proof‑of‑concept deployments, and early production rollouts.
- Partner closely with Applications Engineering to support solution design, system integration, and technical validation.
- Collaborate with Product Management to provide market feedback influencing roadmap and feature development.
- Support pricing strategy, competitive positioning, and value proposition development.
- Represent Airsys at industry events, trade shows, and technical forums related to immersion cooling, HPC, and AI infrastructure.
- Maintain awareness of competitor solutions and evolving industry standards.
- 7+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or product commercialization within:
Servers, HPC, or AI infrastructure. - Strong technical understanding of liquid cooling technologies
, including immersion cooling and direct‑to‑chip cooling. - Proven experience selling or supporting new or disruptive technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to engage both engineering and executive‑level stakeholders.
- Strong network within server OEMs, system integrators, or data center operators.
- Willingness to travel ~40–60%.
- Background working with or against immersion cooling platforms.
- Familiarity with retrofit strategies for legacy data centers.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with R&D and product teams during early product lifecycle stages.
- Experience influencing early‑stage technology adoption and pilot‑to‑production transitions.
- Strong executive‑level communication and presentation skills.
