AboutThe Role
As a Product Solutions Lead, you will lead a Solution Pod – a mini‑company dedicated to specific verticals – and work at the intersection of product, marketing, and GTM. You will turn Port’s flexibility into concrete, sellable solutions, leading a cross‑functional team from concept to execution, owning technical roadmaps and business KPIs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the solution vertical, owning the roadmap, technical definition, and execution for a specific offering, validating market fit and iterating on real‑world feedback.
- Build the technical product, designing and implementing the “0 to 1” solution experience hands‑on, including architecture, configurations, and live demos that prove value.
- Drive market strategy, conducting competitive analysis and partnering with Product Marketing to define positioning and create compelling technical content and messaging.
- Bridge the product gap, translating market needs and solution gaps into structured feedback for the R&D team to evolve the platform.
- Enable commercial success by equipping sales and success teams with deep technical training and assets, and directly supporting strategic pre‑sales and post‑sales engagements to drive adoption.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical customer‑facing role (Solution Architecture, Sales Engineering, Technical Success).
- Hands‑on experience building and demonstrating technical solutions: configure a tool, script an integration, and architect a POC that solves a real business problem.
- Proven background in Dev Ops or Platform Engineering, understanding the modern stack (Kubernetes, CI/CD, Cloud) and the challenges developers face.
- Self‑starter mentality with high autonomy.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value and actionable product requirements.
- Excellent technical documentation skills – implementation guides, demo videos, webinars.
- Creativity in use‑case design – turn a generic platform capability into a specific, meaningful narrative.
