* Bachelor's degree and seven years of broad grants administration or other relevant experience in all aspects of proposal review.
* Knowledge of grant policies and regulations for the public and private sectors.
* Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with federal, state and University policies.
* Must be able to meet deadlines and be proficient in the use of computers, including database management, spreadsheets, word processing applications and the Internet.
* Excellent organization, time management, oral, written, communication/interpersonal skills
* Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities as part of a team.
* Must be eligible to work in the United States for an employer on a full-time basis.
* Advanced Degree
* Certified Research Administrator (CRA)
* Managerial experience
* More than seven years of progressively responsible experience in research/grants administration or other relevant experience in all aspects sponsored proposal review.
* Experience with UT Austin financial systems including DEFINE, UTRMS, and/or FRMS.
