Role OverviewLead Network Architect for the State of Texas (Department of Information Resources – DIR). Support the TEDS project by designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures that support cloud transformation initiatives. Requires deep expertise in hybrid networking, ensuring seamless integration between on‑premises environments and cloud‑native services.
CANDIDATE SKILLS REQUIRED- 8 years of extensive experience in network architecture across AWS and on‑premises environments.
- 8 years of strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network segmentation, and firewall technologies.
- 8 years of expertise in network security principles, including encryption, identity, and compliance frameworks.
- 8 years of familiarity with network automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD integration for infrastructure.
- 8 years of experience with multi‑cloud networking (Azure, GCP) and cloud‑native networking services, with knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models.
- AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty (ANS‑C01)
- Cisco CCNP or CCIE
Senior level – Director.
