Business Operations Technical Analyst - Trust & Safety Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions to streamline recurring operational tasks and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and platform teams to improve systems integration and data flow between platforms (e.g. workflow tools and databases).
• Build, design, and monitor reporting tools that surface key metrics and operational insights. These may include data related to efficiency and quality performance in moderation teams.
• Develop and maintain scalable data workflows (e.g. Scheduled SQL queries, Python scripts or RPA bots).
• Create and maintain data documentation both for an internal, technical audience and for partner user teams.
• Partner with management and/or internal stakeholders to define business requirements and analytical needs and execute against them.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve automation, scalability, and data accessibility in operations.

• 5 years of hands‑on experience in data automation as an Analyst or in a similar position.
• Proficient in Excel automation, data pipeline development, and scripting for automation tasks.
• Proficient in Python and SQL to conduct statistical modeling or data analysis.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Understanding of relational databases and/or data warehousing concepts (e.g. Big Query, Snowflake).
• Proven analytical problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail and process optimization.
• Ability to translate operational pain points into technical solutions that scale.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related subjects.
• Able to thrive with minimal oversight and process, while keeping leadership informed on progress against deadlines.
• Experience working in Trust and Safety scaled operations, with an understanding of content moderation workflows or workflow management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive and self‑motivated with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.

Content that this role interacts with includes images, video, and text related to everyday life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. Hence, it is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content on a daily basis.
