As a Data Engineer on our Data Warehouse team, you will design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines that transform raw financial data into valuable business insights. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions that support growing data needs.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for our enterprise data warehouse
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Optimize existing data workflows for performance and efficiency
- Build and maintain data models that support analytics and reporting needs
- Document data architecture, processes, and workflows
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data engineering
- Support data warehouse operations across development, testing, and production environments
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to our data stack
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational database systems (e.g., Postgre
SQL, SQL Server) - Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, dbt)
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities and team collaboration
- Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or Big Query
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
- Experience with stream processing technologies (Kafka, Kinesis)
- Familiarity with financial data and systems
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance in financial services
