Responsibilities- Installs, configures and maintains the enterprise job scheduling and file transfer software solutions.
- Administers the application servers, operating systems, and the application.
- Performs application patching, security patching and ifix installations.
- Manages IBM IWS Vendor Case workload.
- Manages Progress MFT MOVEit Automation and Transfer Vendor Case Workload.
- Defines and maintains the IWS application and account security files; sets up service accounts, adds new users, removes users, and modifies user access.
- Responds and remediates security vulnerabilities.
- Installs and configures enterprise workstation agents. Advises the account System Administrators on installation and maintenance of the job scheduling agents on account servers as needed.
- Defines and maintains account folder structure.
- Tunes and customizes tools.
- Advises batch scheduling on complex scheduling techniques to improve scheduling and operations productivity.
- Generates and analyzes output of forecasts and status of job schedules in support of monitoring and tracking of batch processes.
- Ensures that the software environments are up and functioning.
- Monitors the health status of the software and infrastructure.
- Proactively anticipates, identifies and resolves application and infrastructure issues.
- Implements event processing for automated monitoring and alerting for Service Now ticketing system and Cloud Watch.
- Manages Linux and Windows server operating systems and environments.
- Initiates requests for change (RFCs) to deploy or update the IWS and Progress MFT MOVEit infrastructure via AWS Managed Services console.
- Manages SSL Certifications on Load Balancer and Application EC2.
- Migrates batch instance from one platform/data center into the AWS or other Common Services Cloud environments.
- Validates vendor patches and releases and compatibility with enterprise operating systems.
- Generates custom IWS and MFT reports.
- Performs root‑cause analysis and documents major incidents and work‑around solutions.
- Assists with account SOC Audits and Disaster Recovery Testing.
- Advises other team members, developers, job schedulers and operators.
- Monitors and makes suggestions regarding capacity planning.
- Provides 24x7 on‑call support for application and infrastructure issues.
- Depending on level, may lead the work of others.
- Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- 6+ years of experience in Windows/UNIX/Linux Systems Administration with experience in IBM Workload Scheduler, Progress MFT MOVEit File Transfer and MOVEit Automation.
- Experience planning, installing, configuring, upgrading, maintaining, troubleshooting and performing failure resolutions in large and complex environments.
- Web Sphere Liberty administration.
- Integrating Active Directory for user authentication and group membership lookup.
- Configuring Azure Single Sign‑On (SSO) using OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Scripting skills for UNIX/Linux servers (bash, Python, or other common scripting languages) and Windows Servers (Power Shell, VBScript, or other common scripting languages).
- United States remote opportunity.

The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
