You’ll work with a diverse team of software, hardware, network engineers, supply‑chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to help AWS deliver the highest standards for safety, security, and unlimited capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. We aim to be the provider of the best operating, lowest‑cost infrastructure in the world, coordinating allocations of infrastructure components across multiple manufacturers and suppliers.

This Role
  • Perform forecasting, demand analysis, material and inventory management, and manage supply buffers.
  • Understand manufacturing processes to verify supply commitments and reduce cycle times.
  • Collaborate with component suppliers and server manufacturers to analyze, reconcile allocations, and monitor changes and cancellations.
  • Participate in requirements gathering.
  • Work with analytics and software development teams to enhance the supply‑chain network and drive automation.
  • Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics, monitor SLAs, and report findings.
  • Produce written recommendations and insights to inform key stakeholders of supply‑chain health and help shape solution design.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Forecast generation and demand planning.
  • Allocation of AWS material from inventory hubs to suppliers.
  • Review requirements and specifications with Hardware Engineering.
  • Plan ocean, air, and ground transportation.
  • Create supply heatmaps.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of program, project, or product‑management experience or leading product implementation.
  • 6+ years of related industry experience.
  • 8+ years of data analysis experience using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of high‑volume manufacturing operations or sourcing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience in global supply‑chain management and managing cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced consumer electronics product company.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies.
  • Experience negotiating with global suppliers and driving cost reduction.
  • Experience with procurement practices working with engineering, supply‑chain, and Tier 1 OEM partners.
  • Experience practicing best‑in‑class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should‑cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent).
