Neos Consulting Group is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for a long‑term contract in Austin, TX. The role supports higher‑education policy initiatives, data‑driven decision‑making, and process improvements for a government client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements, document workflows and business processes, and develop reports and dashboards.
• Conduct user interface and workflow analysis for a custom‑built Salesforce application.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to enhance higher‑education programs and initiatives.
• Translate complex data and business requirements into actionable development backlog items.

Candidate Skills and

Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience executing business analysis and documentation of requirements and process for IT and business solutions that meet Program, ITS, and User needs.
• 8+ years experience working on complex projects throughout all development phases, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• 8+ years of excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging all levels of stakeholders.
• 8+ years ability to translate complex data and business requirements into actionable development backlog.
• 8+ years strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and demonstrated ability in conflict resolution.
• 4+ years experience working in Salesforce.
• 2+ years proficiency in Visio or other process workflow tools.
• 2+ years experience working with confidential data and process implementation to provide information security.
• 2+ years experience working with user story development in Azure Dev Ops.
• 4+ years preferred experience in Agile development and backlogs.
• 1+ year preferred experience working in public sector.
• Preferred: working familiarity with the Texas State Legislative Process in state agencies.

Position Details: Local candidates only. Onsite presence required 5 days per week. Long‑term contract.
