We're hiring an
AI Trainer Onboarding and Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for our growing community of AI trainers. You'll help new trainers get started, answer their questions, resolve issues quickly, and make sure everyone has what they need to do their best work.

This role is all about people. You'll be the friendly voice (or message) that helps someone navigate their first annotation task, troubleshoot a technical issue, or understand their payment. You'll work across time zones to support a global workforce, and you'll play a key role in making Human Signal a place where talented people want to contribute.

You will:
  • Respond to support tickets from AI trainers across multiple channels—email, chat, and internal platforms
  • Guide new trainers through onboarding: answering questions, troubleshooting setup issues, and helping them get started on their first tasks
  • Handle questions about payments, scheduling, task assignments, platform navigation, and general policies
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and elevate complex problems to the right teams
  • Create and maintain help documentation, FAQs, and onboarding materials based on common questions
  • Track support metrics and identify patterns that can improve the trainer experience
  • Work closely with operations and product teams to communicate trainer feedback and help improve our systems
  • Maintain a fixed schedule that may include night or weekend shifts to support trainers across time zones
  • Help build a welcoming, supportive community for our global network of AI trainers
You have:
  • 2+ years of experience in customer support, onboarding, or community management roles
  • Genuine passion for helping people and solving their problems
  • Excellent written communication skills—you're clear, friendly, and empathetic
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new tools quickly
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work a fixed schedule, including potential night or weekend shifts
  • Experience working independently and managing your own workload
  • Patience and professionalism, even in challenging situations
Nice to have:
  • Experience supporting remote or distributed work forces
  • Familiarity with support ticketing systems (Zendesk, Intercom, etc.)
  • Background in data annotation, AI/ML, or tech platforms
  • Multilingual capabilities, especially Spanish, Portuguese, or other widely spoken languages
  • Experience creating help documentation or training materials
  • Interest in AI and machine learning
