The Information Security team protects EY and client information assets, delivering secure products and services and responding quickly to security events. The Cyber Defense Response Center (CTF) monitors and detects information security events aligned with incident response and attack lifp>

• Perform real‑time monitoring and analysis of logs/alerts from a variety of security devices, determining legitimate security incidents.
• Work cross‑functionally to detect and respond to incidents, develop procedures, and participate in investigations.
• Operate at a technical level, identify threats and vectors that cause security events, and follow mitigation procedures.

• Respond to network, cloud, and host‑based security events.
• Investigate and resolve security events independently.
• Propose improvements within Cyber Triage and Forensics.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or 2–3 years of related experience.

• 1–2 years in a SOC or security monitoring environment.
• Investigate security events, threats, or vulnerabilities.
• Incident handling and log analysis from multiple devices.
• Proficiency with intrusion detection platforms.
• Windows systems administration (AD) and/or Linux knowledge.

• Information Security principles, technologies, and practices.
• Experience with multiple security event detection platforms.
• Thorough understanding of TCP/IP.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Comfortable troubleshooting Windows system issues.
• Desired certifications – any security certifications.

Under limited supervision, the CTF Analyst I reports to the CTF Global Service Manager, performing monitoring, research, classification, and analysis of security events across networks and endpoints.

• Competitive base salary range $60,400–$109,600 (US). Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, 401(k), and paid time off.
